After discussions with a contact in the US who has previously built an RV-8, I decided I was going to follow the 'Rocket' style fuel tank vents. Rather than running more fuel plumbing into the airframe, the Rocket, and multiple RV builders (including my contact), have gone with the coiled pipe method. I did 3 'wraps'. My contact in the US has never had any fuel 'burp' or leak from his system. I can always modify it later if it poses a problem.
