Today I worked on the alternator output cable routing. I would have liked to go straight back down the right side of the engine, but there is just to much stuff in the way. I decided to route the cable along the starter cable around the left side of the endine. The wire run is longer, but less crowded. I tied the two cables together using tefzel wire ties through short lengths of fuel hose as a cushion. I added another cushion clamp at the bottom of the engine mount to support the alternator wire. I still need to run the field wire to the alternator. It will take the same route, but only to the left side of the firewall.
