With the engine in place I fitted and drilled the side and bottom hinge segments for attaching the lower cowl half. I also made up the required 0.020 spacers to match them up to the thickness of the cowl. I went ahead and riveted the side higes to the firewall/side skin. I left the cowl-side hinge segments long for now. I set the cowl in place to get a fell for how it will go together.
