Brief Description:  Right Fuel Tank 6

Today I clecoed the tank closed and then countersunk the skin at the rear baffle. I then dissasembed the tank and did some final cleaning/prep for starting the pro-seal process.

I started sealing the tank. I just did the stiffeners in the right tank, it wasn't too bad. Of couse the stiffeners are the easy part. I back-riveted the stiffeners. I stared by putting a glob of pro-seal in each dimple and then pressed all the rivets into the hole. I then put rivet tape over everything. I then peanut-butter spread pro-seal on the stiffeners and put them in place and shot the rivets. I then went back and encapsulated all the shop heads. I used about 50grams of pro-seal for the stiffeners of one tank. With the cold weather it will take forever to cure, but I will keep moving forward regardless.

I used masking tape on the rib rivet lines to make sure I didn't get proseal all over the place.

I will add an additional fillet of pro-seal arounf the perimeter of the stiffener when I do the ribs.
