I had previously clecoed the OB skin in place, but I had to remove it because I forgot to put in the nutplate for the Pitot heat ground. I put in a 10-32 nutplate on the rib outboard of the bellcrank. I then crimped a terminal onto a short section of 14awg and routed this along with the power wire through some spiral wrap. Before I attached the nutplate, I cleaned some primer off with a scotch brite pad and the masked off a square and shot some more primer. I then clecoed the OB skin back in place. The ground wire is attach with the following hardware per AC 43-13 table 11-15:
Continued to rivet the lower skins on the left wing. Riveted the bellcrank area and pitot mount doubler. Also riveted the skin overlap seam.
I received a much needed package from Aircraft Spruce that included some more 10-32 nutplates. For my wing electrical connector, I had used #8 screws but decided it would be easier to install the backing plate with bolts. I drilled out the #8 nutplates and replaced them with #10 and installed the connector bracket in the wing.
