I installed the leading edge landing light in the most outboard bay of the leading edge. I painted for forward portion of the bay white "for looks" and to get the most light out of the light. I also polished the reflector mount rather than painting.
I used my air nibbler to cut the hole in the leading edge and finished it with a selection of sanding and filing tools.
