Today I attached the bellcrank rib gussets. The top gusset was easy to put in. I clecoed the top skin in place and bent the tab on the gusset to fit. The rib was marked and drilled to the gusset.
The lower gusset required modification to clear the access panel nutplates. I cut off a portion of the flange and riveted some .032 formed angle facing donward. This angle clears the nutplates and engages 4 of the rivets that attach the doubler to the skin. the remainder of the factory flange is drilled to the skin.
