Today I did the final fitting of the canopy fairings. I finally broke down and added three drilled holes to the canopy to hold the faring in alignment while the adhesive cured. The hole in the fairing and frame are 1/8" while the hole in the canopy is 3/16, the should reduce the stress on the canopy.
I also made a fiberglass "dog house" to connect the two fairing halves. I made this piece just thick enough to hold its shape, I will add more glass when it is attached to the farings.
