Today I fabbed up a second terminal block. This one is for the battery buss. If I had planned ahead better, I would have just made one large block for the two busses, but this worked out just fine.
I also removed the primer from under where the diode and heatsink mount. I attached both using heat-sink compound to improve heat transfer. The diode isn't running anywhere near capacity, but better safe than have a failed avionics power source.
