with the cowl trimmed and positioned, I drilled two of the holes that will later be used for the screws that attach the two halves at the front. I left these #40 for now. I removed the spinner blank and installed the prop and spinner to check the fit. Once the cowl sags a bit with the smaller attach pins, the spinner will be just a hair higher. After some time the engine will likely sag a bit (hopefully not too much) and they will line back up again.
