Today I received the the rest of my panel from the machine shop. The parts came out great! I fitted the panel section to the subframe and only had to do a very small amount of filing to get a good fit. No I need to drill the rest of the mounting holes and deburr everything. Once I have all the supports fitted I will fit the engine controls. I already test-fit some of the instruments and they look like they will slide right in. I also designed a fuel-selector plate while I was at it. It was cheap to add to the order so it may work well. I will likely use red paint undernieth so the letters are red, or maybe red and green...we'll see.
