Today I started work on my new empannage. I assembled the front and rear spars. I edge deburred all parts including the ribs. I carfully polished the spar parts per the manual. with the ribs fitted, I attached the skin left and match-drilled the assembly. The emp is a newer model RV-7 kit so it is match-hole construction. Compared to the non-punched RV-6 parts I am used to working with this is a cakewalk. I didn't have to build any jigs or fixtures. I have only had to lay out a pattern for 4 hours. I feel like I am cheating...haha

Forward doublers
Left stab assembled and match-drilled. Just need to debur , dimple, and rivet
