After finishing up work on the tailcone skin, I started going over the steps to fit the forward fuselage skin, instrument panel, and sub-panel. I briefly clamped the ribs to the firewall to get a visual of how things will come together. Since the firewall is the same used on the pre-punched RV-7, there are holes punched in the firwall for the outer ribs. These holes aren't positioned perfectly for the RV-6 ribs and are the wrong size (-4 instead of -3), but that won't be a problem.
