On 3/15/11 I drove down to the BAX warehouse near DFW and picked up my finishing kit. The crate arrived in good shape. There was no damage to any components. Once I got the crate all unpacked on the 16th, I listed the crate for free on craigslist and someone called me within 30minutes and picked up the crate 10 minutes later.
Over a couple days I inventoried every nut and bolt in the kit, nothing was missing. It was much easier to inventory this kit since the parts count is much lower, there is just a lot of big stuff.
Gina volunteered to let me store the big parts in the house. The cowling and canopy frame are in the third bedroom and the canopy is on the bed in the second bedroom...haha She is a very good sport.
