The weather was beautiful today so it was a great time to get Gina out to the shop to finish up riveting the bottom skins. We switched flush sets from the swivel set to the traditional fixed set, the fixed set gives better results along seams.
The riveting went very well. We have to drill out and re-shoot only a couple rivets wich isn't bad at all. The skins looks great. Next up is the forward skin and boarding steps. Once that forward skin is done, I can roll the fuselage off the jig. There are some rivets left in the tail, but those will be easier to access with the fuselage right side up. There is also one cleco left in the tailcone where I need to make a spacer before we set that rivet.
