Today, Gina came out to the shop to help rivet the bottom skins on. We got a lot of work done. There are only a few rows of rivets left to finish and then we can put the forward skin on.
The majority of the riveting went very well. We would have finished up the center row, but we had a real problem getting the rivets to set straight. I think the edge of the skin is rolled a little to much creating a bit of a gap. I decided that we should stop before getting frustrated. I little more downward force on the gun might do the trick to push everything down so the rivet can set properly. I'm not sure if Gina will be able to do it with her arms outstreched. We'll have to play around with it a bit and see what we can do.
