Previously the jig was in the way and kept me from drilling the side skins to the forward flange on the firewall. Now that the fuselage is sufficiently stable, I cut the top portion of the firwall vertical support off the jig. With these supports out of the way I was able to mark and drill the side skins to the firewall.
I also trimmed the lower edge of the side skin in the area of the lower longeron. I had a bit to much edge distance which would allow the skin to lift once it was riveted. By reducing the edge distance a bit (down to 10/32) I will get a better finish at the seam.
