Previously I had put-off fitting the F-602 R. Not for any particular reason, I just didn't get to it. Now that I am just about ready to work on the cabin side skins, I figured I better get this done. I fitted the F-602 around all the bars and longerons and then prepped and primed it. The F-602 has quite a few notches that have to be cut.
I also back-drilled the F-695R to the upper engine mount / longeron. The F-695 will need some more tweaking so that it will lat flat on the firewall stiffener. So far I have not been impressed with any of the small gussets supplied in the kit. It they are going to make the park, they might as well do it right or not bother at all. I would just assume they provide the plain sheet and I will make the parts myself. It would be easier that putzing around with a poorly made part from the factory.
