Brief Description:  Front and Rear Spar Assembly, Horizontal Stabilize

Front and rear spars are clecoed, left side ribs clecoed, and left side skin clecoed to the stabilizer. This reflects nine hours of work over a weeks time, at least a third the hours were actually spent studying drawings during assembly. I hope this fraction of non-assembly time will reduce over time as I become more accustomed to the drawings, processes, and technique. None the less, it is pretty great to have something resembling a horizontal stabilizer after one weeks effort. Additional thought was put into determining what primer I was going to use on parts not having corrosion protection. I decided to go with a water based AFS primer and placed an order; this after discussions with fellow builders, reading forums on the topic, and applying my personal desires. I will not be priming Alclad parts unless I beat them up pretty good. I will also be using a rattle can of self etching primer for application to the odd part that is not primed with the larger batch of parts where the AFS will be used.
