Brief Description: Pitot and AoA Mounting Brackets
In the mounting instructions for the Dynon pitot tube was a reference to a builders log with a good solution to routing the pitot and AoA lines around the aileron bellcrank. I decided to copy this arrangement and so used measurements from my wing to draw up a set of basic plans for the two brackets. Kevin came over and brought a small bending brake. He helped with bend radius calculations and transferring my drawing to the sheet stock to make the parts.
We made two brackets, one for at the bellcrack to guide the tubes under the bellcrank with snap bushings. The other will have nutplates to secure Adel clamps and capture the transition fittings from the hard lines on the pitot tube to the plastic tubing running through the wing into the fuselage.
