Brief Description:  Rivet End Rib on Right Flap

Removed the flap from the stand and removed the inboard end rib and riveted on the FL-706B with the squeezer. Re-installed the rib and spacers, drilled the last three holes on top and bottom to #33 for MK 319BS rivets and installed those rivets. Put the flap back in the stand and continued to rivet the end rib on the bottom side. Set every other rivet as before. I could not get the bucking bar on the rivet adjacent to the nutplate, so I drilled this one to #33 and used a MK-319BS pulled rivet. Turned the flap in the stand and began riveting the top side of the flap. The last rivet I attempted, the most forward on the top of the flap, did not set properly. I inadvertently pushed the skin away from the rib as I struck the rivet, causing a gap between the parts. Began removing this rivet by drilling the head. Body removal was a trouble due to rivet material between the parts.
