Brief Description:  Dimple Skin, Wash Parts, Prime

Used the squeezer to dimple the trailing edge skin. Was able to do all holes except the last one at the bend, used the close quarters "pop rivet" dimple dies to make these dimples.

Washed all parts in Dawn dish soap and warm water in the master bath shower beacuse it was cold out again today. Set parts aside to dry on the bed.

I primed the left aileron parts with NAPA 7220 by warming the primer in the house and only taking the parts outside long enough to paint. This seemed to work OK even though the primer dried much more slowly tahn ususal. Set parts aside to dry overnight before working with them.

I hung the counterweight and taped over the holes. I then used a syringe body like a funnel to pour the primer down the inside of the pipe. I used a general purpose latex primer from the aviation section of the local hardware store. I put a plastic tub at the bottom to catch the run-off. I removed the tape and used a brush to prime the outside of the pipe.
