Brief Description:  Countersink Right Wing Spar

Set up the countersink for skin dimples. Used the same procedure as left wing to measure diameter of countersinks to ensure proper depth for skin without going too deep. Countersunk all the rivet holes on the bottom of the spar. Forgot the "mystery rivets" and those countersinks will be slightly too deep. Researched on VAF what I can do to correct the error and found info on moving up to -4 rivet diameter. Checked edge distance on spar and rib and there is sufficient material do do this. Will use AN426 AD 4-4 rivets when riveting these oversize countersinks. Did all holes on the top of the spar except the mystery rivets. Re-set the countersink to make rivet heads flush and countersunk the mystery rivet holes.

My daughter Angela was home for Easter break so I got her to help move the skeleton out to the driveway so I could prime the spar flanges. Wiped down the spar with MEK, set it up on a table and shot the edges with NAPA 7220, then hung it back on the wing stand.

Deburred the ribs until my power screwdriver ran out of juice, then turned my attention to the top skins and began by dimpling the outboard skin.
