Made the T-711 tank stiffeners by locating the stock and marking the cut lines on the piece. I cut the stiffeners apart on the band saw, then trimmed the angle cuts on each piece. Cleaned up the edges with hand files, then ran them across the scotchbrite wheel. I labeled them A - F, 1 and 2 for each bay and marked the locations on the tank. Once all the stiffeners were prepped, I cleco'd them into the tank and match drilled them through the skin. I cleco'd on the baffle and drilled the baffle/rib holes to size and deburred the outside. Mounted the tank back on the wing to set up for match drilling the W-423 join plate. Had a small gap on the bottom of the wing where the tank and leading edge meet. Not as big as on the right wing, but big enough that I will remove the tank and massage the end rib to try and close it up before drilling.
