Brief Description: Assemble Left Tank and Drill Z Brackets
Proceeded to cleco the tank together using the same techniques as the leading edge. I put one cleco in each rib from the inside in the bottom of the rib, forward-most hole. I then used some muscle and the tapered punch to align the rib and skin holes for the most forward hole on the top and inserted a cleco from the outside (normal) position. I got one cleco in each rib, then started moving up the ribs with a cleco in every hole. About half way up I switched to every other hole. Once the top was cleco'd I flipped the assembly and worked from nose aft putting clecos in the bottom of the tank. Got a few in then moved the cleco from inside to outside. I finshed by putting a cleco in nearly every hole. Mounted the tank on the wing. I cleco'd the skin to the spar with 1/8 inch clecos in every hole, checked the alignment of the root rib on the Z-bracket and drilled and cleco'd the root bracket. I removed the leading edge, then drilled and cleco'd the outboard Z bracket. Removed the skin and center ribs leaving the end ribs and baffle cleco'd to the spar. Drilled and cleco'd the remaining Z brackets. Removed the bafffle and deburred the holes, then removed the Z brackets, deburred them, and re-installed.
