Brief Description: Install Tiedown Assemblies, Rivet Right Rear Spar
Riveted the spacers on the W-731 for the right spar. Used the hand squeezer to set the rivets. Put the tiedown assembly on the spar and inserted the four bolts holding the assembly to the spar. A couple were tight in the holes, so I made a pass with the 3/16 bit and all bolts went in well. Prepped the W-823 aileron bellcrank brackets by drilling the mounting holes with 3/16 bit and the bellcrank hole with 1/4 inch bit. Deburred all holes. Mounted the bellcrank brackets and tightened all bolts until snug. Set up the torque wrench for 23 inch pounds and torqued bolts for the brackets; nuts on the tie-down mounting bolts. Marked all with torque seal.
Repeated process for installing the tie-down on the left spar.
Drilled the pass through hole to 3/8 inch for the stall warning wiring with a step drill per the stall warning plans. Deburred and inserted a snap in grommet.
Riveted the reinforcing plates on the right rear spar with the C-frame.
