Rolled the leading edge of the left elevator. Basic shape obtained with steel pipe rolling all three sections, then removing tape for outboard section, rolling again the two sections and a third iteration with just the inboard section taped. Hand forming with a wooden dowel and a short piece of pipe, as well as free hand squeezing, got the edges fairly close together. A pair of mechanic's gloves were very helpful when working the leading edge by hand. Final closure was done with seaming pliers pulling the upper skin and putting in a slight bend to the edge. Cleco's went in with very little pressure and riveting pulled the pieces tight with no pillowing between rivets. Installed the rod end bearings per the plans.
Started the process again on the lower half of the right elevator.
