Brief Description:  Front Spar Assembly Day 2

Made the 6 degree bend in the end of the spar. Put a 24 tooth per inch blade on the band saw and made some test cuts in scrap aluminum. Nice smooth cuts. Then made cuts in the 710 and 714 angles. I used the vixen file to smooth out the saw marks in the edges. The vixen file really did a good job of removing material. Too good, as I found out when I finished smoothing the tapers, I had removed so much material that I had insufficient edge distance on 3 of the 4 end rivet holes. I bent the parts just for practice and ordered a new 710 and 714 from Van's.
