Brief Description: Right Hinge, Engine Mount Fitting
Used the same process to make the shim and prepare the hinge as on 14 Nov. Put the engine mount up to the firewall and made some rough marks as to where the lower corners of the fuselage will have to be cut to clear the landing gear. Used these marks to begin removing material with a grinder, rotary file and sanding drum. The aluminum was easy to cut, the stainless firewall was more work. Got the opening close on both sides, still needs a little more trimming.
