I removed everything from the firewall and polished it twice with Mother's metal polish. This should help with keeping it clean later on. Used white Rustoleum to paint the fuel line doubler and washer to match the white parts on the battery box. Next up is making the hinges to hold the lower cowl, so I found the proper hinge material and the steel pins in my storage area.
