Used the plans to layout hole locations on the firewall for the contator mounts and the cabin heat valve. Drilled the hole to mount an adel clamp for the oil breather tube. Used the nutplate as a drill guide and drilled for rivets. Deburred all holes then used the gun to rivet on the nutplate. Put a screw and adel clamp on the firewall as placeholder.
Drilled pilot hole for cabin heat. Bought a new hole saw rated for stainless steel and used a wood block as backup to cut hole for cabin heat. Clamped on the valve to check positioning on firewall recess and to locate mounting holes.
