Put the stab with elevators on the fuselage and test fit the bolts. They went in with just a little wiggling of the stab. Re-checked measurements from firewall and we are still right on the money. Removed stab and used holes to mark the F-798 shims for drilling. Drilled #40 on the drill press, upsized, and deburred. Measured and marked shims for inboard bolt. Drilled inboard hole up to full size and deburred. Used the shim to mark forward spar for inboard hole. Drilled #40 and then upsized. Checked that both bolts went through spar and shim. Used shim to mark aft deck for inboard holes.
