Brief Description: Install Elevator Tubes, Reset Shop
I put the F-789 in the plane. Read about some having issues with making it fit. The trick is to remove the bearings and slide it in from the aft right side of fuselage. Tube goes right in and then put the bearings back on. Put a bolt through forward and aft connections and connected F-790 as well.
Shifting to work on the tail surfaces the fuselage needed to face the other way. I jacked up the cradle and re-installed the wheels and removed the 4x8 sheet I had added to the top of the workbench for canopy. Frances helped roll the fuselage out and rearrange the shop for work on tail section. Then we rolled it back in.
