Brief Description: Begin Installing Flight Controls
I used a longer threaded rod for the aft canopy track support and now that the track is screwed to the fuselage I can cut it off. Used the dremel cutoff wheel to cut the rod and sanding drum to round off end. Backed the outer jam nut off to clear the threads and installed the lock nut.
Began work on the WD-610 control column by removing the rib section and bolting in the column with washers as shown in plans. Not easy work to get the washers in correctly. Added the WD-612 left stick and WD-611 right stick with more washers for proper spacing. Will need a new open end wrench to properly torque these bolts.
