Debated on ways to eliminate the rivet interference. Decided that removing the rivet tail and leaving the rivet was best. I did some experiments with dremel and sanding drum, and determined sanding off the tail flush would work. This left the factory head and rivet shank to fill the hole in the longeron. Climbed in the back of the fuselage and the dremel made short work of the rivet tails. More test fitting revealed interference with the screw heads on the back of the flap housing. Made some relief in the bar and fit was good.
