Put the frame back in and made the final marks for cutting on the inside of the canopy. Also marked the location of the side rails for future reference. Ran duct tape across the open end to help stabilize the canopy after the cut. Flipped the canopy over and removed protective plastic around the cut line on the outside and taped down the edges.
Took a deep breath and commenced the Big Cut. After all the practice cuts it went very smooth. Got it finished and edge finished with various grits as I had done on the practice cuts. Started breathing again and had a beer.
