I double checked the location of the pitch servo bracket with the plans and marked the spot on the F-729 bellcrank rib. Removed the bracket and drilled out the three rivets that interfered. Rechecked location for bracket and securely clamped in place. Match drilled the bracket to the holes in the bellcrank rib, cleco as I went. Removed the bracket and marked it for two bolt holes to secure it near the bottom. Drilled the bracket, deburred, re-clecoed it into the bellcrank rib and match drilled for two AN3 bolts. Removed bracket, deburred holes, scuffed with scotchbrite, washed and primed with NAPA 7220.
While the pitch bracket was drying, I inventoried the roll servo kit, cleaned up the holes from powdercoat, and installed the roll servo per the plans.
Used the squeezer to rivet the pitch servo bracket and torqued the bolts. Reinstalled the servo for a final fit check.
