Brief Description: Bolt Gussets, Rivet Right Cover Support
Removed plastic and edge finished the F-766 flap actuator channel and F-785 backrest brace.
I bolted the gussets to the spar and inserted the bolts and washers through the side of the fuselage per the plans. Torqued the nuts and marked with torque seal.
The plans call for LP4-3 pulled rivets to attach the forward cover angles to the fuselage. These are too long for the narrow gap between the parts. I used some leftover AD-41 and 42 closed end rivets from the fuel tank which fit better but still required a good push on the rivet puller to get the head to set properly as the rivet was pulled. Then used the squeezer to rivet on the nutplates.
