Brief Description: Finsh Baggage Area Rivets, Seal Firewall
Kevin helped finsih off the last remaining rivets in the baggage area with a combination of back riveting and him on the gun. Then we test fit the F-772 bottom skin. I wanted to seal the firewall at this time with 3M 2000+ Silicone Fire Barrier. We removed the skin and cleaned the mating surfaces on the skins and firewall with MEK. Kevin held the side skins open with a tongue depressor and I put a line of sealant between the skin and firewall flange. Then I ran a bead of sealant across the bottom of the firewall. We put the F-772 skin back in place and cleco'd it down, using a cleco in every hole around the perimeter of the firewall.
