Brief Description: Begin Riveting Bottom Skin on Center Section
Ready to rivet the bottom skin on and called in Kevin to assist. I was originally going to use the upside down orientation I've seen on other build sites, but the vertical gave better access. We used saw horses and 4x4s to make a solid base and clamped the center section down well. This gave a solid footing to rivet the lower (forward) part of the section. Kevin ran the gun and I bucked the rivets. Used several different bucking bars to get into some of the tight corners. Went along the F-705 bulkhead first then down the two center ribs. Had a couple of bad rivets that I drilled out, but overall this method worked well.
