Brief Description: Continue Brakes, Wheels and Tires
Continued with brake assembly and found the U-810 interefered with the Matco brake mounting. Did some on line research and found a solution to grind a relief in the corner of the U-810. Used the Dremel with a sanding drum to make the modifications to both sides.
Put some air in the inner tubes to be sure they didn't leak. Mine have been stored in the house, in the original bags and away from light for several years now. They unfolded easily and held air just fine. Used tire talc inside the tires and on the tubes before assembly. Put a little air in the tube after I got it inside the tire. Assembled the wheels making sure the alignment for the fill tube, red dot on the tire and cutout in the wheel stayed correct. Bolted the wheel halves together and aired up the tires and let the air out several times. All was well, so I left them inflated over night.
