I used the avionics boxes that came with the panel to make paper cutouts of their footprints. Made sure to indicate where antennaes, wires, and plugs went into each box. Put a bit of tape on the back of each and then I put them on the intermediate bulkhead and tried various combinations, keeping in mind wire and antenna runs. After several iterations I settled on a layout I thought would work. Also made footprints for the shunt and estimated the ground tab block and ANL fuse that will go on the firewall. Final layout for those will have to wait until I receive the parts.
