Brief Description: Drill C-791 Skirt Brace to Canopy Frame
To drill the C-791 skirt brace to the canopy I had to get into the fuselage on the stand. Was concerned at adding my weight to the weight the stand was already holding up with engine attached, so I supported engine with the hoist while I worked.
Marked a reference line on the inside of the canopy lower square tube for the rivets per the plans. Used tape to hold the C-791 on the line for initial drilling. I centerpunched each hole then drilled it to #40, forward to aft, clecoing as I went. I had to remove the cleco's to open the canopy to get out.
