After some deliberation and looking at other engines, I decided to swap the angle fitting and straight fitting positions. I removed and cleaned the angle fitting but to install it in the lower port required a combination of wrenches. I borrowed a special angled wrench from Ken and that, in combination with a crows foot and other wrenches, allowed me to install the angle fitting without removing the right mag. Ordered a steel straight fitting for the upper port from ACS and will install that when it arrives.
