Before drilling the large holes for engine control pass thrus I wanted to check the cable runs. I borrowed an engine hoist from Ken and watched some videos on getting the engine on the mount correctly. Set up the mounts as upper and lower and moved the engine in place. Getting it exactly aligned with the mount took some time. I started with the left upper mount and got the bolt inserted without too much trouble. Upper right took a little more work. Lifted the front of the engine to allow room to insert the lower mounts then got those bolts in as well. Once the engine was on I used safety wire to replicate the control cables and check the runs. All looked good so I removed the engine and put it back on the crate.
