I marked a centerline on the 0.020 shim and used that to line it up on the hinge for drilling. Clamped in place then match drilled the shim using hinge as a guide. Deburred all holes and scuffed the shim for primer and rounded the ends on scotchbrite wheel. Used the squeezer to dimple the shim. Used the countersink tool 0.007 deep from flush for the hinge. Cleaned up the corners on the scotchbrite wheel and scuffed the back side for primer. Cleco'd them both on for a test fit.
