Used the Van's provided cutting wheel in a battery powered die grinder to make the first cut along the edge of the canopy. Only cut off about an inch, but was good for practice and to get process figured out. I wore goggles, a face mask, and a long sleeve shirt to protect from cutting dust and debris. Used a multi tool with velcro-on sandpaper to finish edge. Used 60, 80, 180, and 220 grit to make a nice smooth edge. Finished with 400 grit in a hand sanding block.
