Brief Description: Install Threaded Rod and Pitot Lines
Drilled the canopy rail for the threaded rod support and also installed the screw and nut near the end. Put the rod in the fuselage and mounted the rail. Used measurement from the plans that canopy side rails should be 40 and 13/16 inches apart and exactly parallel. This dimension puts the side rails right along the inboard edge of the aft canopy deck and looks good. Clamped them in place and drilled one hole forward and one aft at #40 and cleco'd on. Canopy seems to fit well and roll smoothly at this dimension.
Preparing for a shop visit by EAA 156, I ran the pitot and AoA lines in the fuselage as I had planned earlier.
