Brief Description: Finish Drilling Rib to Firewall
I drilled the firewall holes up to 1/8 inch with a small step drill coming from the forward side of the firewall. I reached in through the firewall recess hole to hold the wood backing block. This worked well as I replaced the cleco's with each larger hole. Removed the top skin and marked location of the F-7108B angle on the rib. Double checked with centerline drawn on the angle. Removed rib and angle and match drilled a few of the angle holes on the drill press. Did remainder on the bench. Disassembled and deburred all holes. Reassembled rib with angle and plate cleco'd on. Put skin on for final test fit.
Crawled back in the hole and mounted the static system tubing to the bulkheads and my support tabs with screws.
