Brief Description: Drill F-785, Begin Aircraft Extras Console
Reassembled the flap housing and used the F-760s to mark and drill the F-785A backrest brace. Used the nutplate jig to drill mounting holes for nutplates. Deburred all holes, scuffed for primer and dimpled for rivets. Drilled the F-767 angle for nutplates and deburred. Countersunk for rivets. Scuffed the cap, angle, and F-760s for primer.
Unpacked the Aircraft Extras center console and cleco'd together per the plans. Bottom plate required a little adjustment on the belt sander to get the fit right, otherwise it went together well. Decided to use flush solid rivets instead of the supplied pulled rivets for most of the assembly. Countersunk holes and scuffed for primer.
Washed parts in Dawn dishsoap and warm water and set aside to dry.
